The unsteady-state response of a slender body in nonlinear shallow water wave environment was studied Numerical scheme has been developed which permits rapid calculation of the following, which describe the motion of an arbitrarily shaped body in three degrees of freedom anywhere within such an environment a Unsteady-state response b Centroid locus c Forces and moments Sample calculations are given for a typical submersible Results are expressed in generalized parameters, defining the circumstances wherein various displacements, velocities, accelerations, etc , would occur.
