A tremendous amount of advances has been made in the field of dentistry in the past few decades. In spite of these advances, the average orthodontic treatment lasts 1.5 to 3 years. "Wilkodontics," often called Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics (PAOO) is a procedure that helps in accelerating tooth movement as well as in providing an increase for rendering extensive dental services and care to the patients in bone activation through selective decortication and osteotomies as well as alveolar augmentation using a particulate bone graft.
