Acinetobacter baumannii is an emerging multi-drug resistant opportunistic pathogen that causes a variety of nosocomial infections. In recent years, carbapenem resistance in A.baumannii has increased due to Ambler class B Metallo β-lactamases or class D OXA Carbapenemases.
