The aim of this research is to find out the problems faced in thewriting instruction. The data of research is collected by "WritingChallenges Facing Education Questionnaire" which is prepared by theresearchers. Questionnaire consists of 31 the substances (all negative),and the four dimensions (students, teachers, programs, and externalfactors) totally which was held with a five-point Likert-style. The totalvariance explanation of the scale was found as 41.54%. In the context ofthe validity, the value of Cronbach's alpha which is internal consistencycoefficient was found to be 0.83 totally. The study group is consisted by158 Turkish teachers. In data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test forindependent samples, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and nosignificant difference in the F values, Tukey-HSD test was used toidentify the source. When the findings are analyzed at sub-dimensionlevel, the problem about students is that the lack reading habits,problem from the teacher is that not to follow the developments in thefield, in terms of the program the applied method is not appropriate asa time, problems derived from the lack of external factors detract fromthe language used in the Internet and the mobile phone can be called asa first problem. Significant difference according to gender views onproblems of teachers to the t test to examine whether the differenceswere not significant. Significant difference was found in the the one-wayanalysis of variance (ANOVA) done to examine problems according toseniority and education by the views regarding the problems ofteachers.
