The socio-economic, demographic, political and culturalproblems created by immigrants ought to be studied one by one.After the treaties the Ottoman Empire signed between the 17thand the 18th centuries, some territories were lost and in paralel with thewithdrawal, the immigrations began from these territories to homeland.In the 19th century, the immigrations especially began after the CrimeanWar and increased at the and of this century, millions of people had toabandon their home and immigrate to Anatolia in dreary situations andmisery.Some legal problems, the immigrants being placed in Çorum areawere faced, were enrolled the law, one of the most remarkable problemswas the situations of their bondwomen whom the immigrants took withwhen they immigeated. As well as the problems occuring during theimmigration, there were also legal problems about selling thebondwomen whom the Circassion immigrants took with. In this study,all these subjects will be tried to be examined. Zorunlu olarak karşılaşılan bir süreç olan göç olgusu sebep her ne olursa olsun tüm açılardan değerlendirilmek durumundadır. Bu süreç devlet, göç eden halk ve yerleştirildikleri bölgenin hâkim halkı açısından değerlendirilmelidir.Bu iskân sırasında yaşanmış olan yetersizlikler, ortaya çıkan salgın hastalıklar, görevlilerin yetersizlikleri, yerleşmenin gerçekleştirildiği bölgelerde ortaya çıkan sorunlar nedeniyle insanlarda oluşan hoşnutsuzluk ve talepler birlikte değerlendirilmelidir.19. yüzyıl Osmanlı coğrafyasında yaşanan siyasi hareketliliğin paralelinde sosyal değişimlerin de hız kazandığı bir dönemdir. Bu asırda, çevre ülkelerin Müslüman halklarınca Osmanlı topraklarına gerçekleştirilen göçler, toplumsal değişimi tetikleyen başlıca etkenlerdendir. 19. yüzyılın ortasından itibaren Kafkasya'dan gelen büyük kitleler de Osmanlı ülkesini yeni yurtları olarak kabul etmişlerdir. Göçlerin yarattığı sosyo-ekonomik, demografik, siyasi ve kültürel sorunlar tek tek irdelenmelidir.Osmanlı Devletinin XVII. ve XVIII. yüzyılda imzalanmış antlaşmalar sonrası kaybedilen topraklar ve başlayan geri çekilişe paralel olarak bu bölgelerden anayurda göçler başlamıştır. Özellikle 19. Yüzyılda Kırım Savaşı sonrası başlayan ve bu yüzyılın sonlarında yoğunlaşan göçlerle milyonlarca insan kurulu düzenini terk etmek, çok kötü şartlar ve eziyetlerle Anadolu’ya göç etmek mecburiyetinde kalmıştır.Çorum bölgesine yerleştirilmiş olan göçmenlerin burada yaşadıkları bir takım hukuki sorunlar sicillere yansımış olup, bunlardan en dikkat çekeni yanlarında getirmiş oldukları cariyelerinin durumlarıdır. Göçlerle ortaya çıkan sıkıntılara, Çerkes göçmenlerin yanlarında getirdikleri cariyelerin satılması konusunda yaşanan hukuki sorunlarda görünmektedir. Bu çalışmada tüm bu konulara değinilmeye çalışılacaktır
