Science And Technology In Turkish Textbook

Turkish lesson has the maximum loan in terms of hours per week in primary school programs. Turkish lesson, not only teach our language also contributes development of students in terms of liberal education and knowledge with the most beautiful example of the texts. For this reason, Turkish textbook is an important tool in Turkish lesson. In terms of information given in textbook, can be found all types of text. One of them is also subjects of science and technology. A childgets acquainted with the science and technology at early age in theinformation age that we have. The child‟s recognizing technology in education early agecomes true with Turkish lesson. Becauseteaching accrues withlanguage in education. Turkish lesson that aims teaching a soundmother language at early years uses as a tool all of types text withbooks. In later periods, technology and science subjects of educationare also started teaching in other lessons. Even, while there is a lesson„Information Tecnologies‟ that given directly these subjects, this lessonhas been removed since 2010-2011 acedemic year. Because thesesubjects were distributed properly other lessons contents. Under thecircunstances, in later periods science and technology subjects havebeen more important in Turkish textbooks.In this study, 6-8 classes Turkish textbooks that approved byMEB and teached Turkey‟s different parts were searched. Primarily intextbooks, texts were searched by determining „Science and Technology‟topic; later digger topics science and technology-content texts wereevaluated by searching. Türkçe dersi, ilköğretim programlarında, haftalık ders saati bakımından en fazla krediye sahiptir. Çünkü Türkçe dersi, sadece dilimizi öğretmiyor en güzel örnek metilerle genel kültür ve bilgi bakımından öğrencilerin gelişimine de katkıda bulunuyor. Bu sebeple, Türkçe dersinde ders kitapları önemli bir araçtır. İçerisinde verdiği bilgi bakımından her türlü metin bulunabilir. Bunlardan biri de bilim ve teknoloji konularıdır. İçinde bulunduğumuz bilişim çağında çocuk, bilim ve teknoloji ile çok erken yaşlarda tanışmaktadır. Bilim ve teknolojik ürünlerle iç içe yaşarken bunlar hakkında daha geniş bilgilere ulaşması ise okul çağında olmaktadır. Çocuğun, okulda eğitimin erken yıllarında teknolojiyi tanıması Türkçe dersi aracılığıyla olmaktadır. Çünkü eğitimde öğretim dil ile gerçekleşir. Erken yıllarda sağlam bir ana dili öğretimi vermeyi amaçlayan Türkçe dersi, kitaplar aracılığıyla her türlü metni araç olarak kullanır. Eğitimin ilerleyen dönemlerinde, teknoloji ve bilim konuları başka derslerde de verilmeye başlanır. Hatta bu konuları doğrudan veren “Bilişim Teknolojileri” adlı bir ders varken, 2011-2012 eğitim öğreitm yılından itibaren bu ders kaldırılmıştır. Çünkü bu konular, diğer derslerin içeriklerine uygun bir şekilde dağıtılmıştır. Durum böyle olunca da ilerleyen dönemlerde Türkçe ders kitaplarında ilim ve teknoloji konuları daha önemli hale gelmiştir.Bu araştırmada, MEB tarafından onaylanmış ve Türkiye‟nin değişik yerlerindeki okullarda okutulan 6-8. sınıflar Türkçe dersi kitapları incelenmiştir. Kitaplarda öncelikle “Bilim ve Teknoloji” teması tespit edilerek metinler incelenmiş, daha sonra da digger temalardaki bilim ve teknoloji içerikli metinler incelenerek değerlendirilmiştir
