Don Kişot ve Daniş Çelebi

Although novel is mostly depend on fiction, it is one of the writtensources and withnesses for people who are trying history of human andgoods. It is submit itself to people in a different ways in the past. But wewant to talk abount modern novel here. For modern it is admit that donQuixote is the inception of novel. In this sense it is definitely anticipatedto be something from Don Quixote in every heros of novels. Also thiseffect in Turkish literature begins to seen as a species. The are which istalking about the effect of Don Quixote is seen at piece of Ahmet mithatEfendi who is undertake social tasks as written machine.Cervantes and Ahmet Mithat Efendi are the two importantnovelists in the world literature. Because both authors used their pensfor art and community servise. In this study these two authors will becompared with the character Don Quixote that meets them in common.In this comparison the novel of Cervante's Don Quixote and the novel ofAhmet Mithat efendi's Don Quixote in İstanbul will be summarized andthe main charactors of each one will be compared exactly witheachother. In this comparison our aim is not only using same types butalso how the writers avaluate their social lives. Before giving it, firstly itwill be montioned the process of known of the novel in Turkishliterature. Roman, çoğunlukla her ne kadar kurguya dayanıyor olsa da eşyanın ve insanın tarihini yazmaya kalkışanlar için önemli yazılı kaynaklardan, tanıklardan biridir. Geçmişte farklı şekiller içinde okura kendini takdim etmiştir. Ancak biz burada modern romandan bahsetmek istiyoruz. Modern anlamda romanın başlangıcı Don Kişot olarak kabul edilir. Bu anlamda sonraki devirlerin her romanında Cervantes’ten, her roman kahramanında da Don Kişot’tan mutlaka bir şeylerin olması beklenir. Türk edebiyatında da bu etki romanın bir tür olarak girmesi ile görülmeye başlar. Bahsedilen dönemde bu Don Kişot etkisi bir yazı makinesi durumunda sosyal görev üstlenen Ahmet Mithat Efendi’nin eserlerinde görülür.Cervantes ve Ahmet Mithat Efendi dünya edebiyatının iki önemli romancısıdır. Çünkü her iki yazar da kalemlerini sanatın olduğu kadar hatta daha fazlasıyla toplumun hizmetine sunmuştur. Bu çalışmada her iki yazar, onları ortak bir paydada buluşturan Don Kişot tipi etrafında karşılaştırılacaktır. Don Kişot hayallerinin peşinden giden bir maceraperesttir. Karşılaştırmada Cervantes’in Don Kişot adlı romanı ile Ahmet Mithat Efendi’nin İstanbul’da Don Kişot romanları tanıtılarak kısa bir özet verilecek ve her iki romanın ana karakteri birebir yönleriyle mukayese edilecektir. Bu karşılaştırmada amacımız yalnız benzer tiplerin kullanılmış olması değil aynı zamanda yazarların kendi döneminin sosyal yaşantısını nasıl değerlendirdikleridir. Mukayese öncesinde Türk edebiyatına romanın giriş sürecine de kısa bir şekilde değinilecektir
