This article aims to find clues via Allegro Feroce that how Necil Kâzım Akses has dealt with the material he has acquired from local music culture in the contemporary art music in his studenthood and how he has taken his own way in composing. In the period when the work was composed, the atmosphere of art and understanding in composing was tried not to be ignored and evidence was sought to support Akses' propensity for local music culture. From this point, the structures of the chords accompanied by the melodies are compared with the references of the components which are related to the makam music. In addition, it has been tried to determine the rhythmic and metric characteristics of the local music culture by taking the structure in terms of form. The findings obtained during the article show that Akses' interest in rhythmic and formal components in the Turkish music tradition, in the folk music and in the classical norms we encountered, started in his studenthood.\u
