As an artist and an individual, in almost all periods of his life, Fikret Mualla was in a production period which was away from agreement and artificiality. Mualla’s “avangardist” manner on living and productive areas never agrees with the current system. This manner, with changing Mualla’s personality and art, also beyond gainingan identity, gained a new personality for him. Fikret Mualla, who has a transition between his tragic life story and the natural formation of his art, is as brave as living only what he sees and drawing only what he lives. Fikret Mualla, who has no connection with any concepts on his pictures, is known as a colorful artist. When appraised from this perspective, Fikret Mualla will be one of the artists at TurkishPainting art who haven’t been an imitation of anyone but only produced at their type
