In painting art of Vasiliy Grigorevich Perov, pioneer realist painter in 19th century Russian painting art, theme of little man has an important role. Artist took subjects of his paintings from real life, reflected the difficulties of Russian public to his art in a realistic way. Perov, the first painter to reveal the lives of poor peasants in Russia, dealed the fate of women and children, the difficulties of urban life
