
Mei symmetries and the Noether conserved quantities of super-thin elastic rod

Based on Kirchhoff’s analoguegeneralized Hamilton canonical equations for the dynamics of super-thin elastic rod are analyzed. The Mei symmetry transformations and the theorem are introduced.And the condition and theorem of Noether conserved quantity are deduced directly by Mei symmetry for the super-thin elastic rod system. An example is given to illustrate the application of the result.
