The previous volume of Akroterion introduced illustrated articles with a general appeal to promote an awareness of Classics among a broader reading public. The response from readers (regular and new) was very positive. The two illustrated contributions in this volume cover topics as far apart as a Neolithic flint arrowhead from England dating to around 3500 BC to the influence of Graeco-Roman architecture on modern buildings in Stellenbosch
