In the research, which subject was the situation indicators of basketball efficiency, regression analysiswas applied in order to determine the impact of the predictor system of 18 variables of situationalefficiency on the criterion variable of the total percentage of shots in the match. The sample in thisresearch was 29 basketball matches, KK Budućnost from Podgorica (Montenegro) played in the ABALeague for the 2017/18 season. The obtained results have determined that the predictor system withalmost 100% of success predicts the outcome of the overall efficiency of the percentage of shots at thematch. Individually speaking, it was concluded that the effectiveness of the shots in the match willsolely depend on the parameters of the situational efficiency of one, two and three points shot. Also, itwas concluded that other parameters for monitoring the situational efficiency in basketball, providedby FIBA, have no impact on the analyzed criterion variable. In general, it could be concluded that forKK Buducnost from Podgorica, in the season 2017/18 the offense was the best defense.
