This article aims to give an idea of the Italic mosaic production in Sardinia, determining which mosaics are actually made by Italic artists, or by them inspired. Although the mosaic heritage of Sardinia is large, there are only five cases in which we can assert that we are in front of an Italic skill, and only in two towns: Cagliari and Porto Torres. Unfortunately there are no stratigraphic data for these mosaics, since they were recovered by accident or following excavations made improperly, they can be dated only thanks to stylistic comparisons.
