In this article, the epidemiology of childhood sexual abuse and its impact on the mental health will be reviewed. Invisibilization mechanisms, which allow society for not giving a proportional response despite that child sexual abuse is happening in a big percentage of population and that it has been related to mental health problems, will be reviewed.
