Open AccessA relação entre a escola e a família com crianças em risco implica necessariamente a presença da equipa técnica que intervém junto da família e da criança. Os objectivos que devem orientar a relação Escola – Família – Serviços Sociais são informar os professores, as crianças e as famílias sobre o quadro legislativo e administrativo aplicável a crianças em risco, ajudar os técnicos dos Serviços Sociais e os detentores da guarda a compreenderem a estrutura do sistema educativo (currículo, avaliação, níveis e qualificações, etc.), ajudar os professores a compreender o que significa estar acompanhado ou acolhido e as razões que explicam a baixa performance escolar destas crianças, destacar boas práticas educativas neste domínio e promover as condições para que as crianças desenvolvam e atinjam o seu potencial de aprendizagem.
