This article deals with the situation of religious groups of Russian old-believers in two Baltic states (Latvia and Estonia) and Romania. The article is devoted to the results of field research, which is based on a comparison of the minority in the three states in terms of language, religion and ethnicity. The article deals with the transformation of the original identity of old- believers and explains the origin and history of old-believers in three countries
