Emanuel Fait – Czech researcher in Central Asia

The article deals with the research work of the Czech traveler and anthropologist Emanuel Fait about the life of the Central Asian nations. Emphasis is placed on work that has not yet been translated into Russian. Fait’s work is interesting because he represents the view of an independent researcher, without the burden of ideology and politics. This is a view of a person who shows interest in the Asian world solely through scientific interest and the desire to witness what has already been written and to be able to understand it
