Camilla Møhring Reestorff: “The Affective Intensification of Denmark: Border Controls on Facebook”Through a study of the nine Danish political parties and the nine party leaders’ Facebook updates in the period between the 4th of January and the 16th of September 2016, this article investigates the affective structures that impact and intensify the debate about border control, refugees and immigrants. The article follows and studies the affective rhythms and the seriality that results in demands of more affect and heightens the affective investment in the notion of Denmark.
