Maurice Blanchot: "I maj"AbstractMaurice Blanchot: “In May”Four short texts by Maurice Blanchot written for the first and only edition of the journal Comité in October 1968. Despite his recluse life Blanchot was involved ‘body and soul’ in the events gripping Paris in May 1968, as it has been described by his friend Jacques Derrida. In these texts, published anonymously, Blanchot outlines the relationship between the written word and the revolutionary events, underscoring the fragmentary and ephemeral nature of both.
