This paper proposes a new framework to compare the descriptive power of different types of Petri nets. An extension of condition/event-nets is defined, and in the proposed framework, it is shown that this extension has the same descriptive power as condition/event-nets.This paper proposes a new framework to compare the descriptive power of different types of Petri nets.
