The reactions of propanonilchromenes with protonic and aprotonic acids were investigated. The possibility of aromatisation of thiopyranochromen-2-ones’ 4Н-thiopiranic fragment was demonstrated using NMR 1Н spectroscopy method in time and new chromenothiopyrilium perchlorates (thriftoracetates) were discovered.
