Business Intelligence (BI) systems permit the access to and the analysis of the information to improve - optimize decision making processes in both agility and performance. This article presents the process of implementing a BI for the DYNA Magazine. This implementation responds to the interest of the journal to increase its impact factor (IF or Impact Factor) in the main impact lists of scientific journals. The tool developed allows the identification of top priority areas, fields, authors, reviewers, etc. and favors the support of decision-making when accepting or rejecting jobs, estimating the impact that they may have, selecting topics, etc. Keywords: Business Intelligence, Scientometrics, Improvement of Journal Impact Factor
