The sister journals S tem C ells and S tem C ells T ranslational M edicine have synergistic roles, although there is often considerable overlap in content between them. Whereas S tem C ells is primarily concerned with advancing basic knowledge of mechanism and function, S tem C ells T ranslational M edicine is geared toward the application of such advances for clinical benefit.
