The article aims to expose reflections on\udthe handcraft as a symbolic differential for\udfashion products and design. The text\udpresents reflections on the representations\udof craft production to the consumer market\udfrom the study of the categories:\udcommodity fetish and value. Therefore,\udthey were used with theoretical support the\udconcepts erected by Karl Marx and\udempirical observations on the exploitation\udof handcraft by the current luxury market,\udfor example. The methodological routes\udadopted for the construction of research\udguided in field research, specifically with\udparticipant observation, and literature\udreview. The results point to the\udconstruction of interesting reflections on\udthe exploitation of cultural goods and\udelements derived from popular culture as\udagregators value to drivers of consumption\udtoday
