Tecem-se considerações acerca da presença do vocábulo fabrica em textos epigráficos e a propósito da representação da ascia, que se identifica com um instrumento concreto: a enxó do tanoeiro. Is discussed the evidence of the word fabrica in Roman epigraphic monuments and also about ascia, here identified with a concrete instrument: the cooper’s adze. Finally, what we can say about the word arula in Roman epigraphic monuments and classic texts.
