Presentación general de los Textos de los Sarcófagos, principal corpus funerario del Imperio Medio Egipcio. Se tratan los aspectos externos del mismo (distribución geográfica y cronológica, tipología, decoración y posición de los textos en los ataúdes) así como los externos (estructura textual y contenido).
General introduction to the Coffin Texts, the main funerary corpus from the Egyptian Middle Kingdom. The paper deals with the external features of the corpus (geographical and chronological distribution, typology, decoration and position of texts in the coffins) as well as internal (textual structure and contents).
