Change can be unsettling. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to meet with young water professionals. I do this frequently, but this year seemed very different ‐ yet the same. It was different in that they were uniformly uncomfortable and anxious about what the changes in the US presidential leadership meant for water. It was the same in that they had a lot of questions, were open to hearing and challenging a diversity of answers, and most important, willing to share their personal thoughts.
