A wave of consolidation activity has been sweeping over the water industry. This frenzy of investment, merger and acquisition activity has been a constant presence in this industry for about 15 years. Even though it always seems to be reaching new highs, investment interest in the water industry seems to continue to grow. The blockbuster deals that we read about in the news are mostly between the bigger players, but all of this activity doesn't go unnoticed by the thousands of smaller and mid‐sized companies that make up most of this industry.
