Since its inception in 2007, the Water Wagon program at Niagara Region, Ontario, has grown significantly. This 2,400‐L (634‐gal) portable water hauler provides clean, cold tap water at local nonprofit and charitable events. Best of all, this service is free. The Water Wagon is unique and simple in design. Comparable units often require electricity and a direct connection to a municipal water supply. The Water Wagon requires neither. It encourages residents and visitors to make environmentally responsible choices outside of the home and on the go. It also supports healthy lifestyles, providing an alternative to sugary sodas and juice beverages.
