Spore inoculation is a low cost alternative to produce seedlings of ectomycorrhizal plants to degraded lands. The objective of this work was to identify and evaluate the occurrence of ectomycorrhizal fungi basidiocarps in a Eucalyptus urograndis plantation in Rio Pomba. We identified fungi belonging to the genera Pisolithus sp. and Sclerodermasp. The highest production of basidiocarps was observed 40 to 60 days after the beginning of the raining period. Most part of basidiocarps was observed in sites with direct incidence of the sun light in soil. This information will subsidize strategies of basidiocarps collection in order to obtain spores to inoculation programs in nurseries.
