Throughout the course of his lengthy and remarkable career, Richard Landon successfully developed and promoted the extensive and renowned collections at the University of Toronto Libraries. After receiving his undergraduate and library school degrees from the University of British Columbia, Landon was hired in 1967 as a cataloguer in the libraries‘ Department of Rare Books and Special Collections.
