ResumoNeste artigo busca-se perceber as respostas e matrizes teológicas que brotam diante dos desastres ocorridos no Brasil; mais especificamente, diante das tragédias ocasionadas pelas chuvas em Teresópolis, região serrana do Rio de Janeiro,  em janeiro de 2011. A partir de um relato oral de uma moradora chave, protestante, problematiza-se a teologia por meio das expressões religiosas dos camponeses e de suas religiosidades plurais e fragmentadas, que, após a tragédia, visam reconstruir a vida no distrito de Vieira. O artigo traz um olhar sobre a geografia do local e aspectos históricos da região, a fim de clarear para o leitor sobre  a realidade do fenômeno natural, bem como dar melhor percepção sobre as interpretações das vítimas da tragédia.Palavras-Chaves: Vieira. História oral e matrizes teológicas. AbstractIn this article we seek to understand the answers and theological matrices that arise before the disasters in Brazil; more specifically, given the tragedies caused by rains in Teresopolis, highland area of Rio de Janeiro, which occurred in January 2011. From an oral report, a resident, Protestant, problematizes the theology of religious expressions by peasants, and their plural and fragmented religiousness, which, after the tragedy, aim to reconstruct life in the district of Vieira. The article provides a look at the geography of the place and historical aspects of the region in order to lighten the reader about the reality of natural phenomenon, to give better insight into the interpretations of the victims of the tragedy.Keywords: Vieira.
