The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of World Bank (WB) -based education reformson education after the 1990s to present the consequences of public-private partnership in primaryand higher education. The research is qualitative, of a bibliographical character and the methodused was historical Materialism, insofar as this allows the analysis of the category totality, evidencing the existing contradictions in capitalist society. The results were that the public andprivate relationship made the educational field an attractive market for business groups, subjecting it to commercial logic. It is concluded that the partnership allows the access andpermanence of the companies in all sectors of the educational field, mainly in the actuation andformulation of educational policies.
