The initial formation of teachers in the Brazilian context depends on a plurality of guidelines that guide theinitial formation and teacher professionalization. This theoretical essay was elaborated with the objectiveof discussing the problem of curricular adequacy in the initial formation of teachers, based on thestructuring guidelines of the degree courses, pondering the importance of the pre-existing ideologies of theTrainer Teacher. In this work we have as main references Apple (2006) and Sacristán (2008) for thediscussion of curriculum and Opinion CNE / CP nº 111/2012 as an example in this discussion. As a result ofthis reflection, we consider that it is essential to continue the formation of teacher trainers, so that there isa space for reflection on what it means to train a teacher and about the culture in which their experiencewithin the university, enabling the ideological rupture of the teacher and also building and unbalancinghegemonies within the colleges by building curricula for undergraduate degrees.
