
O BULLYING ESCOLAR NA PERSPECTIVA DO GÊNERO MASCULINO E FEMININO

The school violence is a problem that exists in most of the schools, whether public or private, a\udreality that has become a serious social problem. Among various kinds of violence that reach the\udschool, the bullying phenomena have gained prominence. In that sense, this work had as the main\udobjective identify if exists differences between bullying practiced by boys and girls, its intensity\udand characteristics. For the data gathering, we used a questionnaire, following the structured\udmodel by the English institution Kidscape, containing essay and multiple choice questions. This\udresearch was realized in a municipal school, located in a suburban district of Presidente Prudente\ud(SP) city, with 52 students of the 5th grade elementary school involved. The results show that there\udare differences in bullying practiced by boys and girls. Boys are more aggressive and use physical\udstrength, being easy to identify; Girls aggression is more subtlety, being harder to identify the\udpractice. Concerning the effects and consequences on victims, the study indicates a similarity in\udboth genres: after the aggression, they didn't want to go to school anymore, showing the desire of\udretaliate the bullying practice, against their aggressors.\u
