The present work has the objective of evaluating themicrobiological properties of the soil that presents increasing doses of tannerysludge. The experiment was carried out under greenhouse conditions, locatedat Campus II - UNOESTE, in the city of Presidente Prudente. The application ofdifferent doses of tannery sludge in microbiological soil parameters wasevaluated. The study was conducted in 30 pots of 10 kg during the period ofone hundred days, after which samples were collected and sent to thelaboratory for the soil biological evaluations of carbon and nitrogen of themicrobial biomass and basal respiration of the soil. The data were submitted toanalysis of variance, and the comparison was made by regression. Theapplication of the dosage of 2 Mg of sludge ha-1 under the soil surface allowedan increase in the carbon and nitrogen of the microbial biomass beingefficient. Higher dosages end up reducing the elements in the biomass.
