Currently, customer satisfaction is a crucial factor for anorganization's survival in the competitive marketplace. To achieve this, initially,it is imperative that organizations seek the elaboration of a functional andefficient layout, considering aspects such as physical layout and organization ofmachines, equipment, circulation areas, inventory areas and people. Thisimproves the efficiency of the process and consequently increases quality, reduces costs and increases customer satisfaction. Thus, the present work aimsto establish a layout to a coffee factory using the methodology of SystematicLayout Planning (SLP), aiming to optimize the process flow and consequentlythe efficiency of operation.
