An electrochemical sensor based on the electrochemically\udplatinum electrode modified with nanostructured polymeric film of\udpoly[Ni(α,α'-Me2Salen)]–OH for detection and quantitation of glycerol\udwas developed. The electropolymerization, activation, electrochemical\udbehavior of the sensor and the electrooxidation of glycerol were\udinvestigated using cyclic voltammetry technique. The voltammetric\udresponse was obtained in a concentration range from 4,99 x 10-7 mol L-\ud1\udto 4,76 × 10-6 mol L-1\ud, being the linear response from 4,99 × 10-7 mol\udL\ud-1\udto 3.73 × 10-6 mol L-1 with limit of quantification 38,4 × 10-5 µmol L-\ud1\ud, limit of detection 3,82 x 10-6 mol L-1\ude sensitivity of 1,82 μA L mol-1\ud.\udThe sensor showed kinetic characteristics similar to the MichaelisMenten\udmodel, and then the kinetic parameters calculated by\udLineweaver-Burke and nonlinear fitting curve.\ud\u
