The intercropping systems can contribute to the sustainability of agricultural systems, however,\udcompetition may occur between the species involved. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of\udintercropping between soybean and eucalyptus in different positions of soybean band in relation\udto the trees rows. The experiment was conducted in experimental areas of Campus II from\udUniversidade do Oeste Paulista in Presidente Prudente (SP), in an Ultisol, between May, 2010 and\udMarch, 2012. It was tested three treatments in different distances of soybean with eucalyptus. The\udtreatments were: 1- west extreme; 2-center of the band; and 3-east extreme. The evaluations\udwere soil moisture, soil temperature and solar radiation during the stage of grains filling of the\udsoybean, in different times of the days, after ten days without rain. In soybean growth between\udeucalyptus rows distant by 15 m and installed on the north-south direction, the grain yield is\udhigher in the west end and lower in the east end, due to be local with higher and lower incidence\udof solar radiation during the day, respectively
