The genetic diversity existent in the culture of the corn allows your cultivation in various ambient. The objective of this study was to evaluate, comparatively, twenty corn cultivars hybrid, with 0,45 m spacing. The experimental designer was casual entirely, with four repetitions. The corn cultivation in the ambient safrinha (fall cropping) in the west from São Paulo, Brazil, characterized by the high shortage of rains in the autumnwinter period, it presented satisfactory productivities in terms of economical viability. The experiment evidenced that the reduction of the spacing planting implied sense for 0,45 m, staying the population density of plants pattern of the culture, it is promising for the cultivation safrinha in areas or period of the year of water stress. They are intense the differences among them corn cultivars, for the attributes of plants and ears heights, lodging percentage and 100 grains mass, allowing to the farmers judge which are the best cultivars for your respective production systems. Separating the corn cultivars in categories of grains revenue, a prominence group is had formed by the hybrid DKB-350, PIONEER-3070, AG-9010, EXCELLER and AG-5020, with 5.400, 5.310, 4.810, 4.700 and 4.650 kg ha-1 of grains, respectively
