The structuration of basic health through Health Family Strategy brought a new way of seeing and working health, contemplating the guidances of SUS (Brazilian Unified National Health System). The objective of this experience report is to show that the deployment of the Health Family Strategy is viable, with favorable impact in the health indicators. However, it is necessary more than rules and incentives to make it real.

A estruturação da Atenção Básica por meio da estratégia de Saúde da Família trouxe consigo uma nova forma de enxergar e de trabalhar a saúde, contemplando as diretrizes do SUS. O objetivo deste relato de experiência é mostrar que a implantação da Estratégia de Saúde da Família é viável, com impacto favorável nos indicadores de saúde. Entretanto para concretizá-la é preciso mais que normas e incentivos.
