To the Editor: We report tran ient yellow discoloration of lOenails after erious brown snake envenomation and antivenom therapy. nail yndrome" (lymphoedema, re piralOry di ea e and persistent thickened yellow nail ). We postulated the yellow staining in thi child may have been caused by haem pigment laid down in the nail bed at the time of the evere coagulopathy. Although yellow nail have not been associated with other coagulopathies, ubungual haematoma may occur with blood dy crasia .
