A woman presented with an infectious mononucleosis‐like illness while she was receiving low‐dose dapsone therapy for chronic eczema. Concomitant with the mononucleosis, there was evidence for activated T lymphocytes in vivo. The case is reported here to alert clinicians to the uncommon hazards of dapsone therapy.
