Immunoproliferative disorders are diagnosed with increasing frequency early in their course. With improvement in supportive management, the less common complications such as amyloidosis may be recognized more frequently. Four subjects with immunoproliferative disorders developed amyloidosis, the initial manifestations being gastrointestinal. The disease process included ischaemic colitis, acute pancreatitis, massive hepatomegaly and intestinal pseudo‐obstruction.
