Those psychosocial factors concerned with the acceptance or rejection of family planning in an Aboriginal community are presented. It Is suggested that medical personnel as well as the traditional Western‐type family planning clinic need to take such factors Into consideration if they are to offer a service relevant to the needs of a developing Aboriginal community.
