Endophthalmitis is a rare complication of systemic candidiasis. A case of candida endophthalmitis following heroin addiction is described. This complication has not previously been reported. Our patient initially responded satisfactorily to 5‐fluorocytosine, then suffered a relapse while on therapy but subsequently responded well to amphotericin B.
