The results of the treatment with oxolinic acid of 138 patients suffering from bacteriologlcally proven urinary tract infection are described. Oxolinic acid Is a recently developed synthetic chemotherapeutic agent chemically similar to nalidixic acid. The results indicate the usefulness of the drug.
