Reserpine and propranolol, given In therapeutic dosages as adjuncts in the treatment of thyrotoxic patients, do not significantly lengthen the Achilles tendon reflex time. These findings are in conflict with previous reports (McKinney et alii, 1965; Waal‐Manning, 1969). Possible reasons for these differences are discussed.
