A case of bilateral conjunctivitis caused by larvæ of Œstrus Ovis (the sheep nasal bot‐fly) is described. This report is thought to be the first of its kind from Queensland. It would seem that man may act as an accidental host for the fly, which has a widespread distribution in Australia. The life cycle of the bot‐fly is outlined, and a method of treating the conjunctivitis is suggested.
